Plisse and Duette blinds are folded and stretched in the form of an accordion. Profile Group offers a wide variety of fabrics and colors and different management schemes. Plisse and Duette blinds can be made with one fabric model or a combination of two fabric models DAY and NIGHT. They are a combination of a transparent and a thicker fabric, which can be combined according to the taste and style of the client. They are made with taut cords, one static and two movable profiles and control by means of two handles. They are suitable for both vertical and windows with a slope of up to 15 °.
The fabric is Italian treated with a special technology, which makes it antistatic / moisture resistant / non-flammable.
In addition to standard fabrics, Profile Group also offers a set of 4 models of non-combustible fabric. More than half of our collection is specially treated fabrics:
- ToparPlus – fabric treatment against water and moisture absorption. Blinds with this fabric are extremely suitable for damp rooms, as the fabric does not darken, does not mold, does not absorb unpleasant odors.
- DustBlock – anti-dust fabric treatment. Blinds with this fabric are extremely suitable for children and people with respiratory problems.
The mechanisms are Hunter Douglas Netherlands and are extremely smooth and easy to operate, reliable and practical. The different control models allow the blinds to move smoothly from bottom to top, top to bottom, as well as mixed in both directions with gathering in the middle.
Operating with plisse and duette interior blinds:

Plisse – classic fabric with folds.
Duette – the fabric resembles a honeycomb. Highest thermal insulation performance of all interior shading materials.
Duette Fixe – the fabric resembles a semi-honeycomb. The stretch of the outer part of the fabric is fixed, so the fabric folds evenly from the inside along the entire height of the blind, and the folds last twice as long as the pleated fabric. Highest thermal insulation performance of all interior shading materials.
Duette blinds are protection against the heat of the sun and reduce heat intake through the window by 78%. In winter, Duette blinds can save up to 12% of heating energy. Duette blinds have extremely high sound-absorbing properties for acoustic comfort, even when there is a large amount of glass, ceramics and concrete in the room.
